“ We had a large group and so we went early at 11 to make sure we could get a seat together and we got right in. At 1230 there was a massive wait. The rolls are a must have hot and fresh with some apple butter. They throw the rolls at you and you have to catch. They have multiple other items they hand out to complement your meal. I would say their food is good and solid but I wouldn't write home about it. Was a fun experience and glad we went. Make sure to go hungry because the sizes are huge. Plan accordingly. They got food out hot and fast even when busy. Fun for the whole family. ”
“ Second time coming and enjoyed it both times. This time our waitress was a hoot. She had us cracking up the whole time. Got my husband to yell at the roll guy and told him that was rude lol and then had our son blushing bc he was the one needing to pay the bill. All in good fun. The food was grandma cooking good and we enjoyed it all. Okra is amazing! And I love the tomato pasta side. When in the area we always stop. ”
“ We had an awesome experience. The wait was short to get in but it was a Wed night. The atmosphere was rocking. Pass a longs were terrific. Absolutely loved the onions and potatoes. Made the mistake of eating 4 rolls before the main meal. Couldn't help myself. I got the Philly. T was decent. My wife's Cesar Salad was humungus. My daughters chicken strips were the size of Texas. Overall absolutely loved the experience. Price was amazing as well for all the food we got. ”

Amazingly decorated with midwest history and culture. ”
“ We stopped in today and had a feast! The items we ordered were hot and delicious! Our server was attentive and checked on us regularly! We went 4 for 4 on catching the “Throwed Rolls!” ”
“ We were very impressed with the chicken fried steak and frog legs. Came on a Wednesday at 4:30pm, no waiting time. Loved the pass-around fried okra, fried potatoes and of course the hot rolls. Will come back with more family and friends. ”
“ Honestly had the BEST Fried Chicken I have EVER had in my Lifetime. Service was absolutely perfect. And do yourself a favor, even though you are full when you leave, don't forget to get the Carrot Cake for later. You will regret it if you do. That cake is Fantastic!!! ”
“ This was a much different dinning experience than what I expected. I have seen the signs for the "Home of the Throwed Rolls" for years and never stopped. It was definitely worth the detour for my family to eat here. The hot fresh rolls kept coming in hot and tasted amazing. The fried okra was dynamite. I tried hog jowl for the first time. While I don't have anything to compare it to...I can't wait to try it again. The frog legs and country fried steak was excellent. The atmosphere is worth every penny. ”
